I live and breathe flowers. I’m a lucky girl. Every day I get to work with beautiful things and a wonderful team, creating bouquets and buttonholes, posies and garlands and all kinds of wedding flower decor for amazing brides and grooms.

I get to be part of your gorgeous wedding and feel the excitement and anticipation that everyone feels in the run up to the big day but I get to do it every single weekend!

My day starts early morning with a trip to the flower market where I hand pick only the best blooms so they look fresh and incredible all day long. Then it’s onto the workshop where we snip and preen, and dunk and wire until our fingers are blue with cold on some winters days. Then, dosed up on coffee, we load the Stems van and head off to the church or venue to get it looking just how you want it. Whether that’s a rustic barn, a funky tipi, yurt or a glamorous stately home, we create flowers to suit your personality, your colour scheme or theme.

Church pews are hand tied with flower adorned hearts, candle lanterns are placed in doorways, and grand floral displays created near the altar. Pretty bay trees at the entrance, baskets filled with rosemary and lavender are gathered together to add fragrance whilst candles are lit ready for your grand entrance. And then, as if by magic, we disappear in time for your guests arriving.

Then it’s a quick stop to deliver your hand-made bridal bouquet and your bridesmaids posies or wrist corsages, time for a quick hug and often tears and then off we dash to the venue.

Once there, we unload candelabras, gorgeous tea light holders, and rustic apple crates. Before you know it, our dedicated team have adorned each table with unusual blooms, pretty petals and funky flowers to create a little floral wonderland – and we haven’t even stopped for lunch!

With all the candles lit, it’s time for one last check to make sure everything is perfect and then it’s time for home…. We head off into the afternoon dreaming of what the next wedding will bring.
